November 2012. Start of activities in Turkey.
EREDA has reached an agreement with the Turkish Company RESCO to offer his advisory services in the Turkish market, which has reached a great potential in recent years.EREDA will have local representation through RESCO, in the city of Istanbul.

2-3 July 2012 Workshop "Analysis of Operating Wind Farms: Learning the Lessons from Operational Sites"

June 2012. Installation of the 80 m height mast in Tombwa, Angola.
In order to complete the measuring campaign of 4 masts previously installed in Angola, in June a new 80 m mast was installed in Tombwa. EREDA also has delivered the project engineering and the technical specifications for the international tender that will be preceded by the construction of a wind farm in the region of Tombwa.
June 2012. EREDA keeps its collaboration in the 7th edition of the Renewable Energies and Environment Master 2012-2013, own degree of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

December 2011. Delivery of the Technical Specifications for the Supply and Construction of the first Wind Farm in Angola.
EREDA delivers the technical specifications for the supply and construction of Tombwa Wind Farm (100 MW). Client: Ministry of Energy and Water of Angola. EREDA has been monitoring meteorological measurements in the site since two and half years and ago. These measurements will be soon reinforced with the installation of new masts.
December 2011. Beginning of the O&M Monitoring Contract of a 42 MW Wind Farm in Croatia.
Elaboration of País Vasco Wind Map.
EREDA has used his abilities and knowledge of mesoescale and microescale wind maps to perform País Vasco (Spain) Wind Map. This map has been obtained downscaling historical global meteorological data to the desired resolution by means of the WRF (Weather Research and Forecast) model. Numerical simulations are performed with a supercomputer cluster.
July 2011. EREDA continues his colaboration in the sixth edition of the course 2011-2012 of Renewable Energies and Environment Degree, known as Master ERMA, a qualification of Madrid's Polytechnic University.

AEE organized a workshop called "Intregración en la red: Soluciones para altas penetraciones eólicas en sistemas insulares", David Torres delivered a speech on "Sistema híbrido Baía dos Tigres" where he explained the large-scale hybrid system to electrify Baia dos Tigres Island in Angola.

EREDA had a stand and company executive Teresa Santonato delivered a speech on “Analisi di rendimento di turbine e impianti eolici e valutazione delle opprotunità di ottimizzazione”.
August 2010. Completion of the “STUDY FOR THE DESIGN OF A HYBRID SYSTEM AT BAIA DOS TIGRES”, ANGOLA
This study includes the conceptual design, engineering and technical specifications for a large-scale (10 MW) hybrid system to electrify Baia dos Tigres Island in the Angolan province of Namibe. It covers the assessment of loads and available resources (wind and solar radiation) and the basic design for a generating system to be developed by phases. In the first phase, the system will be entirely independent and should cover 100 % of the demand with renewable energies. It may eventually be connected to the continent in the future. The photograph below depicts the presentation of the project design at the Angolan Ministry of Fisheries.
EREDA joins the Renewables Made in Spain website, whose content covers the 100 Spanish companies that have participated most actively in disseminating the Spanish experience in renewable energy. EREDA is one of the few engineering firms listed and nearly the only consultancy engaging exclusively in renewables.

The Zaragoza Fairgrounds hosted WIND PowerEXPO 2009, Southern Europe’s foremost wind energy technology event, from 22 to 24 September. This seventh edition was officially opened by regional Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Arturo Aliaga and drew participants from 206 industry majors.
16 - 19 March. EWEC (European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition) 2009 at Marseille
EWEC 2009 (European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition) was held from 16 to 19 March in Marseille, France. EWEC is the most important European wind energy fair. In 2009, over 390 companies displayed their products and services and more than 5 000 participants had registered prior to opening. 4 December 2008. EREDA obtains WAsP CERTIFICATION at Risø DTU, Roskilde, Denmark
This certificate guarantees that the person passing the examination has sufficient expertise and experience to assess wind resource studies and accurately calculate wind farm production. Only 109 people have passed the WAsP certification exam (list by countries).
1-3 December 2008. Four EREDA staff members participate in WAsP training at Risø, DTU, Roskilde, Denmark
The course consisted of using WAsP software to conduct wind resource assessments, including wind data analysis and all the aspects to be taken into consideration to estimate site output, through the conscientious use of WAsP. The course was attended by Raquel Moreira, Carlos Hernández, Mario Benso and David Torres
5-7 November. EREDA participates in the WIND EXPO LAWEA (Latin American Wind Energy Association), Guadalajara, Mexico
The LAWEA 2009 fair was held at Guadalajara, Mexico, from 5 to 7 November 2008. EREDA participated as an exhibitor in stand 34. In addition, Cristobal López presented the Baia dos Tigres hybrid system as well as the company’s projects in Latin America (Chile, Venezuela and Dominican Republic).
24-26 September. EREDA at PowerEXPO
The Zaragoza Fairgrounds hosted the sixth edition of PowerEXPO + from 24 to 26 September 2008. This is the foremost national energy event and indisputably one of the most significant industry fairs world-wide.
